Long Papers
Long papers should report on original and substantial contributions of lasting value. The long paper submissions are restricted to a maximum of 8 pages, including references. The final versions of long papers will be given one additional page (maximum 9 pages). Each long paper will be presented by the authors in one of the main conference oral sessions or poster sessions as determined by the program committee.
Long papers must follow the official ACL 2023 style templates (latex | docx | Overleaf ). Submissions must conform to the official ACL 2023 style guidelines (ACL 2023 downloadable templates). Authors may not submit papers that are identical (or largely similar) to versions that are currently under review for a conference or a journal.
Short Papers
Short papers (including demos) should describe original and unpublished research work in progress and/or provide system descriptions. The short paper submissions are restricted to a maximum of 4 pages, including references. The final versions of short papers will be given one additional page (maximum 5 pages).
Each short paper will be presented by the authors in one of the main conference poster sessions as determined by the program committee. Short papers may also be presented as demos in the Demo Session. Short papers must follow the official ACL 2023 style templates (latex | docx | Overleaf ). Publication
The papers published on ICON proceedings will be indexed in ACL Anthology. ACL Anthology is a digital archive of research papers in Computational Linguistics for major international conferences under Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL), which is one of the most well-known associations for NLP and CL. The previous proceedings of ICON 2014, ICON 2015, ICON 2016, ICON 2017, ICON 2019, ICON 2020, ICON 2021,ICON 2022,ICON 2023 and ICON 2024 can be found in ACL Anthology
